teaching
has always been a passion of mine. Having received so much from movement and dance composition, I feel compelled to share what I have learned with others whether professional dancers, dancers in training or hobby dancers.
I love exploring the point where technique and improvisation meet. My main areas of focus are Contemporary Dance Technique, Contact Improvisation, and Improvisation/Instant Composition. My work has also extended into the fields of cultural education by choreographing musicals as well as dance theater productions for non-professionals.
I have taught in different settings since 2017 including professional dance trainings, festivals, the University of Freiburg and at various recreation dance schools. At the moment I am a regular teacher at bewegungs-art freiburg as well as at WEMOVE. and run the Profitraining Freiburg

My contemporary classes are influenced by my background in Graham technique, Improvisation, and different floor work techniques. With a focus on the movement lines within the body we develop our intuitive ability to move between the floor, standing and flying with freedom and precision.

In my Contact Improvisation classes we return to the basics to dance our way forward. Rolling, sliding, sharing weight, following momentum, body alignment, the use of reaching, timing, body tonus and movement quality. We will enter into long movement labs where we explore one topic in-depth and intuitively.
