DESCRIPTION:The hip hop band Zweierpasch is crossing borders: In cooperation with the Freiburg Planetarium\, the video artist Michaela Klaehn and dancers Rebecca Mary & Miriam Cheema\, the six-person band from Freiburg and Strasbourg is planning an audiovisual journey to the stars with “Interstellar” for October 23\, 2024.  \nWith Interstellar\, the band wants to bring live music\, visuals and dance to life in a special space. The team will take the audience to the Freiburg Planetarium on Wednesday\, October 23rd\, from 7 p.m. for an unprecedented event: The band will play a one-hour concert – and fly into space with the audience. The visuals designed for this spectacle take you to 12 planets. Each one represents a song by the band. \nThe dome of the planetarium offers unique opportunities to present the songs in a powerful way. It is about war and peace\, transience and sustainability\, exchange and tolerance. The dancers Miriam Cheema and Rebecca Mary Narum will be seen as special guests – with a performance around the projector in the middle of the room

DESCRIPTION:“Beyond the Body: A Dance Inquiry” is a dance research project by Rebecca Mary Narum and Purnendra Meshram. After one week of research together\, they will present their finidngs in a public showing. \nThe project explores the intricate meanings and perceptions of the body. The dancers pose critical questions: What is the body? How can one define it? Is it possible to see the body beyond its color\, caste\, and economic class? How does one feel alien in their own body? What remains when the body is no longer a focus? Do we perceive the body as an object? How can we view the body as a site?
